First find out what degrees the univ. offers example: masters(MS),PhD,etc. Usually after BE we go for Master's degree. This information about degrees can be found in ACADEMICS of the univ. website.
Next find if the university offers the above degree in your field of interest(CSE,ECE,MECH., etc). This can be found in DEPARTMENTS.
So, now you have selected a univ. that offers required degree in your field of interest
In the selected univ. website you will find a link to PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS or INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, here you will find the general requirements for applying to that univ.
When to apply ?
There are four seasons
1. SPRING
2. WINTER
3. FALL
4. SUMMER
Most of the universities accept International students only during FALL and SPRING semester(some univ have exceptions).
SPRING : Semester classes begin in the first week of january.
FALL : Semester classes begin in August.
(note: for some univ. the dates might vary.)
International students should apply as early as possible at least 5-7 months before the semester intended to join.
Application Deadlines ?
The most important thing before applying to any univ. is to look for deadlines.
some departments have their own deadlines so it is better to check the department web site for their requirements and deadlines.
