Software QA/Test Engineer:

Job Description:
- Work will include development test of the latest technology in the enterprise market and investigation of new technologies to enhance the quality competitiveness of our products. The candidate will come in touch with leading technologies such as 802.11x, SIP, MGCP, SCCP, H323 and Wireless LAN.

Candidate primary responsibilities will be in:
- Will be effective in all product quality test stages including, planning, requirements definition, test design, testing and integration as well troubleshooting and diagnosis of field support issues.
- Leading developing and executing test plan for new platforms and features. Write test plans and test cases to maximize the leverage of software augmented testing.
- Work in a fast paced environment; Be able to work independently on projects with limited supervision.
- Will work on basic phone products and verify that integrated products function correctly with the other VoIP phones product.
- Creatively craft software product tests that extend coverage beyond what would be possible by manual means.
- Be able to provide technical guidance to more junior staff.

Skills:

- Proven ability in the following areas: 1) ability to lead a large test project work, 2) implementation and optimization of test processes; 3 ) develop test tools efficiently and meet schedule obligations.
- Experience in using test tools, such sniffer, voice or data traffic generator and ability to diagnose system issues as well as design the improved testbed architecture to enhance test efficiency.
- Experience in VOIP software test of IP phone products.
- Knowledge in hardware networking devices such as switches, routers and Cisco's MCS servers.
- Knowledge in LAN & WAN protocols, Wi-Fi and technologies. Experience in the Microsoft networking environment preferably; UNIXshell/PERL scripting, Tcl/Tk.
- Familiarity with Cisco test tools, such as ATS, Pagent, Callgen and predominant vendors Ixia or Spirent Test equipment is a plus.
- Must have an understanding of basic networks protocols e.g. VLAN, CDP, Unicast, Multicast and etc.

Qualification:

* BS/MS in EE or CS
* 5+ years of working experience in testing networking system
* hands-on experience in project management, leadership in a team environment
* good customer interface skills
