Tired of shipping circuits and not seeing BIG revenue? Want to ship a part that generates over tens of millions of dollars in revenue each year? Want to be placed immediately into a key role where your talents are utilized, challenged, and rewarded? Want to work in a group that goes from DC to RF? Then you’ve come to the right place.

MSPC Design offers the unique opportunity to design and develop very highly integrated, mixed signal ICs for automotive and consumer electronics applications in an organization that has upper management support to drive to a $1B business. Our ICs are generally full custom devices designed in TI’s state-of-the-art high voltage BiCMOS technologies (down to 0.18-um feature size).

As an Analog Design Engineer in MSPC, you will be responsible for the specification definition, architecture, circuit design, layout supervision, and characterization of high-performance mixed signal circuits utilizing advanced BiCMOS technologies driving SoC applications. These circuits include linear voltage regulators, switching voltage regulators, data converters, power drive and control, transceivers, active filters, switched capacitor design, and battery charging blocks just to name a few. In addition, you will help manage the digital integration of u-controllers, flash memory, and other high-density logic modules onto these highly integrated mixed-signal products.

Expertise with software tools such as Cadence Analog Artist/Virtuoso/Silicon Ensemble, Synopsys, Chrysalis, Powermill, SPICE, etc. is needed. Strong layout knowledge and parasitic component understanding are a must.

The following areas of experience will be helpful: BiCMOS/CMOS technology knowledge, high voltage/high current design, esd, sensor, wafer fab and process, yield enhancement, modelling, ESD, motor control, and RF design tools.

The design engineer will need to team well both within the design team and with a cross-functional team responsible for the full development and ramp to volume of the IC. Communication skills are extremely important in this position.
