Akustica is looking to hire a Senior IC Design Engineer and Team lead. They are looking for sharp engineers with strong experience in Sub circuit Analog design. Candidates must have experience designing band gap circuits, preamplifiers, sigma delta modulators, etc. Any experience with Audio is a big plus. Position

CMOS Analog design of high linearity, high precision analog/mixed signal ICs for audio applications

Responsibilities include:
. Development of ADC architecture including Delta-Sigma, SAR, etc.
. Implementation of sub-circuits including voltage doublers, analog filters, instrumentation amplifiers, etc
. Supervise sub-circuit layout, chip floor-plan and integration . Pre and Post-layout chip verification
. Design review document preparation and presentation
. Work with internal and external design and manufacturing personnel to deliver first-pass success silicon
. Tape-out document preparation
. Actively participate in technical peer design review

Qualifications:
. MSEE and 5+ years experience with analog circuit design
. Expertise with complete IC design flow, from achitecture to production
. Expertise with design of ADCs, DACs, filters, bandgap, high-gain amplifier, etc
. Understanding principles of analog layout, including common-centroid, photolithographic invariance, noise coupling, parasitics, etc
. Experience with external foundries and design kits for various CMOS processes
. Hands-on experience with Silvaco CAD tools
. Ability to work with external IC design consultants
. Strong verbal and written communication skills
