NMS Developer, User Interface

We are looking for a self-motivated engineer with experience in the design and implementation of network management systems.
The position will require close interaction with other teams inside the company to assess network management integration requirements and propose and implement the network management applications for the security appliance.

The ideal candidate would have substantial experience with system architecture and development in both UNIX and Windows environments.
Candidates must be able to show that they have had significant experience in the entire software development cycle: specification, design, implementation, product delivery, and support.

Required skills:


B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/EE
Minimum 4 years experience with enterprise network/security management systems
Experience developing Java/swing based rich GUI functionality
Proven track record in enterprise class systems development
Strong experience with Java, swing
Experience with graphing and charting packages
Experience with HTML, XML, Web Services
Demonstrable appreciation for user experience and user interface design
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking
Ability to rapidly pick up new technologies
Conveys thoughts clearly in both written and verbal communications
