A BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent. Typically a minimum of three plus years of progressively more responsible work experience in test and test equipment design/development, as well as experience in mixed signal automatic testing.
Broad technical knowledge of programming and mixed signal (analogue/digital) ATE systems;
expertise in one or more relevant specialties.

Skills and Roles performed by this position:
? Ability to perform program development and
engineering troubleshooting using various LSI and
microelectronic ATE systems.
? Proficiency in OrCAD, including ability to
create custom symbols and obtain netlists of various
? Interface with test fixture and printed circuit
board vendors to create reliable production and
engineering prototype printed wiring boards and
unit under test interfaces.
? Proficiency in use of wafer saws which entails
custom sawing of prototype wafers and printed
? Maintain and repair laboratory prototyping
equipment including plasma cleaners, disk washers, ovens,
and wire bonders.
? Repair test equipment shipped from off site
? Produce ATE related documentation such as
mechanical drawings, circuit board assembly and BOMs, etc.
? Knowledge of Unix and Windows operating system.
