Description

Looking for a product manager to join Broadband IPTV product management group, working closely with R&D to manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities to ensure the product and solution is effectively developed to meet market and customer requirement while maintaining competitive position in the market.

Job Responsibilities

_ Gathering and prioritizing product and customer specific requirements by conducting market research and on-going customer communications through specific projects.
_ Producing MRD / CRD and working with engineering to finalize functional specifications.
_ Managing product roadmap and monitoring alignment of product roadmap, release plan, feature list and R&D deliverables, making tradeoffs among feature, schedule and cost as the product nears completion.
_ Setting product pricing, maintaining PR Tool and Ordering Guide.
_ Assisting product marketing and sales teams with product expertise, sales collaterals development and RFP/RFI support as needed.
_ Working with product marketing, supply chain and operation to drive and maintain forecast.
_ Working closely with order management, sales operation, finance, planning, purchasing and manufacturing to drive on time product fulfillment.
_ Conducting competitive analysis for use internally at the company.
_ Assessing technology, evaluating vendors, negotiating pricing, license or OEM distribution agreements, and provide business and logistic support for 3rd party products.
_ Managing integration process with identified technology supplier.
_ Monitoring industry innovations, analyzing technology trends by conducting customer and market research.

Requirements:

Experience in one or more of the following:
_ Prior technology product management experience or good understanding of product management role.
_ Experience in supporting a technical product line and demonstrated ability to interface with engineering department on product related programs/issues.
_ Familiar with IP Streaming technologies and products, like Headend, Middleware, Streaming Server, DRM/CAS, IP STB, etc.
_ Must be willing and able to travel internationally
_ Fluency in Chinese/Mandarin a plus
