Description
Looking for a corporate systems engineer to join Broadband IPTV product management group, working with local Project Management, BU Program Management, Field Commissioning teams to safe guard product and solution to be delivered to customer site the same way as the product was originally designed and developed.

Job Responsibilities
? Design, develop, verify and implement fully integrated UTStarcom IPTV solutions including 3rd party technologies.
? Provide system and hands-on oriented pre-sales technical support and project coordination for identified strategic accounts.
? Running early controlled introduction programs and capturing early field issues as well as customer feedback.
? Conduct hands-on oriented product technical training for regional sales engineers and service support teams.
? Developing, maintaining and managing self contained solution kit for rapid deployment of field trial or on-site demo.
? Design, establish and maintain SE/Demo Lab and conduct either typical or specially requested solution demonstrations. Developing standard demo script.

Requirements:
Required technical skills:
? IPTV / Video On Demand industry experience and carrier operation experience.
? Familiar with IP Streaming technologies and products, like Headend, Middleware, Streaming Server, DRM/CAS, IP STB, etc.
? Strong knowledge base of TCP/IP routing and switching.
? Understand various broadband access technologies and applications.
? Solid experience with system administration of various OS like Solaris and Linux, as well as Database like Oracle and Mysql.

Qualification:
? BS degree with 5+ years technical sales support experience in telecom industry, especially direct work with customers.
? Strong lab hands-on capability required.
? Carrier operations experience preferred.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Ability to travel frequently.
? Fluency in Chinese/Mandarin a plus
